Today is Emma Cate’s second birthday, but we had her party yesterday while we had family in town. We just had a small party since there was always the possibility I could have been in labor. I cannot tell you how much the last two years have changed me. Before you have children, it’s so hard to imagine how much you will love them. I didn’t realize this kind of love was possible and I cherish every moment I have with her, especially these last few days/weeks before a new little one enters our life. Emma Cate and I have gotten used to spending all our days together since I stay at home with her and am rarely away from her so I know we are both in for an adjustment. With the Lord’s grace, I know our new little one will be such a blessing to our lives!

I honestly cannot believe I’m posting some of these since you will see how large my tummy is and in the most recent ones, how puffy I’ve gotten! The last few weeks of pregnancy are not fun for that reason especially! The only reason I have time to post this morning is because I stayed home from church to keep my feet up because they are so swollen! Never fun. But we are so excited for baby James arrival…hint hint little one, you can come any time
